The Health Estates and Facilities Management Association, HEFMA, is a professional trade body representing Estates and Facilities Management throughout the NHS across the UK. Pulse is its official magazine for members.
Six issues of Pulse are published every year. The subject matter is very diverse as it is everything that falls under the remit of estates and facilities management across the diverse NHS healthcare estate, including the latest regulations.
As Editor of HEFMA Pulse my responsibility is to write, edit and commission articles, planning each issue to ensure each contains a good balance of material; liaise with the relevant people at the association; liaise with the design studio; proof read thoroughly and represent the magazine where required, for example at conferences.
