Freelance writer & editor

As a freelance writer & editor I am willing to consider any projects – large or small. Particular areas of long-term speciality include the coffee business – from machines to the high street coffee culture – vending, foodservice, packaging, out-of-home beverages, food and drink. However, there is nothing I like better than getting my teeth into challenging new projects. For the last three years I have also been writing for healthcare estates and facilities management as well as cleaning industry publications. Since 2015 I have been the Editor of HEFMA Pulse magazine and a new launch magazine, Hospital Food + Service. In 2018 I was also appointed to edit HEFMA’s website and social media.

A magazine I have been editing for over 10 years and for the last seven years I have also been the publisher, won a major food industry award in 2014. Revue internationale de la Chaîne des Rôtisseurs was named the UK winner in the Best Food Magazine category in the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2014. Progressing further in the international competition it made the shortlist of six publications that competed for the award of ‘Best in the World’. It didn’t win, but it was great to be shortlisted.
